The coolest, most unique things to do in and around Bangkok.

Bangkok Adventures.

Bangkok Adventures is a project that I started whilst living in Thailand. It began as a simple magazine style blog aimed at finding the best things to see and do in and around the city.

Founded in 2013 in a apartment in Bangkok.

More than 30,000 website pageviews each year.

E

Used as a vehicle to learn web design & marketing techniques.

From humble beginnings.

The problem.

Like most good ideas it started with a problem: how can I find out about all of the coolest things to do when the information is not written in my language?

We’d been living in Bangkok for a while when my family came over to visit us. My sister liked to skate so I wanted to take her to an outdoor skate park. Seems simple enough, right? Wrong!

I knew there was a skate park nearby but I couldn’t find any information about it. I passed it off and didn’t think too much in to it, that is until we discovered a cat cafe that was so fun but so difficult to find information for.

Turns out that many of the awesome things to see and do in Bangkok didn’t have websites, or sites in English, and places that were fortunate enough to have articles written about them were lucky if they were more than 100 words.

What if there was a blog that tracked down these cool activities and places but instead of a shoddy write up it had 1000+ words. It would have to include costs, menus, high quality photos and unbiased information.

Bangkok Adventures was born.

Do more, feel more.

The solution.

Do More, Feel More

An online magazine that uses positive media and high quality images to encourage people to go out, explore and experience the coolest things Bangkok has to offer.

Only The Best

Life is too short for bad experiences so we only include the very best of Bangkok on Bangkok Adventures. These are things that we think people will want to do again and again.

Positive Focussed Content

We only write about the best things to do in Bangkok and never include negative remarks in our reviews – after all, if we have something negative about our experience the article won’t appear on Bangkok Adventures.

The future is adventurous.

What next?
