Welcome to my September 2016 Monthly EyeEm Income Report!

Whenever my photos sell through the EyeEm Market I will give you a detailed monthly report that shows you exactly how much you can make on EyeEm, including EyeEm Market, the EyeEm x Getty partnership and the EyeEm x Alamy partnership. I’ll also share any lessons learned, the photos that sold and the exact dollar amounts from each of my photo sales. So, to answer the question: ‘how much do you make on EyeEm?’, here goes!

Latest Goings On In September

Wow, can you believe how fast this year is flying by? It seems only yesterday that we were all celebrating the new year and making our resolutions.

It’s been 5 months now since I started to share my monthly EyeEm Market earnings with you and I just want to ask you:

What do you think so far?

I’d really appreciate it if you could jump down in to the comments below and tell me what you think of these reports, what you would like to see more or less of and how your own EyeEm Market journey is going.

The purpose of sharing these reports with you is so that you can 1) see how easy it is to earn money on the EyeEm Market, and 2) so you can pick up a few tips and pointers along the way. So let me know in the comments what I can do with these reports to make them better for you.

Right, moving on!

September was another month where I have been a very lazy boy when it comes to the EyeEm Market. I really need to sit down and start uploading more if I want to reap the rewards. Or do I…?

Yes. Yes I do need to start upload more but when you take a look at this months earnings in a moment you will see that even though I have had a super busy month I still managed to earn a nice chunk of cash from my photos.

I’ve said it before but I’ve got to say it again…

Passive income rocks!

I’m hoping that soon enough I will have some time to sit down, edit and upload more photos but for now I am launching my freelance career so my photos have to take a small setback.

In October EyeEm are teaming up with Creative Live to launch the EyeEm School of Photography, a 10 week crash course to up your photo game. Participating in the course could help me to carve out the time I need to get more photos online and I may even learn a few things in to process

Be sure to sign up for the course and participate in the EyeEm photo missions each week. They say that there is a special something for people who complete each of the weekly lessons so don’t miss out!

And now, let’s see this months EyeEm Market sales…

Lessons Learned In September

This months lesson is simple: upload your photos and then you can sit back and earn money without lifting a finger.

Wait. While it is absolutely possible to upload your photos and then continue to get paid without doing more work I wouldn’t recommend it.

If I managed to spend more time this month editing, uploading and tagging my images (or letting the fancy EyeEm AI tag my images instead) I could have not only earned more money this month but increased my earnings for the future too.

As far as I’m aware there is no limit to the amount of money you can earn with the EyeEm Market, so why limit your chances by not uploading more? This is something I am finding hard at the moment because life is a little crazy. It’s something that I know I need to work on and I will be spending some serious time on my EyeEm profile in the coming future.

Until next month, keep shooting and uploading!
